MorningLight Law is a new firm. Its founder is not. Every matter is led personally by Jairo C. Lamatina, bringing more than a decade of experience at some of the world's leading international law firms directly to middle-market transactions that rarely receive that level of attention.

Principal
Jairo is a New York-qualified corporate lawyer with more than ten years of experience in mergers, acquisitions, capital markets and cross-border transactions. He has practiced at Sullivan & Cromwell, Skadden, Latham & Watkins and Linklaters, advising issuers, investors, banks and companies on complex transactions across New York, São Paulo and Singapore. Jairo now focuses on representing buyers, sellers and investors in middle-market acquisitions, business sales and U.S. transactions for Brazilian and Latin American investors. He brings an entrepreneurial perspective and multilingual capability — English, Portuguese and Spanish — to every engagement, having also founded and operated a business of his own.
